Renting gives you access to stunning designer dresses for a fraction of the price, without the guilt of a one-time wear. It’s also eco-friendly, reducing fashion waste and supporting a more sustainable future.
Your rental price includes the dress and complimentary dry cleaning, so you can enjoy your event worry-free. Please note that shipping and a refundable bond are separate; the bond varies per dress and is returned once the dress is safely back.
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during peak event seasons, to secure your perfect dress!
Absolutely! You’re welcome to book multiple dresses for different dates or events—just add each one to your cart separately.
Our standard rental period is 4 days. Need more time? Contact us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate an extended hire.
For pickups, collect your dress 1-2 days before your event and return it within 2 days after. For postage hires, your dress arrives 2 days before the event, and returns are due by 4 pm on the next business day.
Absolutely! You can reserve your favorite dress well in advance, securing your perfect look early for peace of mind and less last-minute stress.
We know plans can change! If you need to adjust your dates, reach out as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your new schedule based on availability.
If you need to cancel, we offer store credit for cancellations made up to 14 days before your event. This credit is valid for 12 months, giving you flexibility to find the right look when the timing is better. Within 14 days of the event, the hire price is non-refundable.
Yes! Enjoy a complimentary 30-minute try-on session at our home studio in South Brisbane. Simply book through our Try On section, bring your list of favorites, or explore new options on arrival. A $15 booking fee is required and can be applied toward any hire booked from the appointment. If you’re hoping to try a specific piece, just mention it in your booking notes, and we’ll do our best to have it ready.
Currently, we only offer in-person try-ons at our Brisbane studio, but feel free to reach out if you need advice on fit or styling!
No need to worry about cleaning! Each dress undergoes professional dry cleaning after it’s returned, so you can focus on enjoying your event without the hassle of washing or dry cleaning.
Simply let us know and return the dress as soon as possible! We’ll assess the damage and determine the best course of action. Minor repairs are often covered, but in some cases, a repair fee may apply. If the dress is damaged beyond repair, you may be responsible for covering the full retail price (RRP) of the garment.
Alterations are not allowed, as they can affect the fit and look for future customers. If you have fit concerns, reach out, and we’ll work with you to find the best option.
Yes, we offer Australia-wide shipping for rentals.
All packages are sent with express shipping and arrive within 1-2 business days before your event.
Yes, once your dress is shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email so you can follow your dress’s journey straight to your door.
Returning your dress is simple and stress-free! Just follow these easy steps to make sure everything is returned on time:
- Return Date: All dresses should be returned by the designated return date, or by 5 pm on Monday if your hire ends over the weekend. If you need more time, please let us know in advance to avoid any late fees.
- In-Person Drop-Off: If you picked up your dress locally, simply drop it back at our Doolandella location by 5 pm on the final day of your hire period. Late returns will incur a $30 fee per day.
- Postage Returns: For postal returns, use the prepaid express satchelwe provided. Just drop it off at any Australia Post location or in a YELLOW EXPRESS BIN by 4 pm on your return date. Late returns are subject to additional fees.
You’ll receive your bond refund within 2 days after we’ve received the dress and confirmed it’s returned in its original condition.
No worries! Simply send us a DM on Instagram @mydigitaldrobe, and we’ll provide you with our shipping address. You’ll need to purchase a YELLOW EXPRESS postage satchel, add our address, and send the dress back by Monday at 5 pm.
